“In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise.”
Ephesians 1:17-18
“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.”
Ephesians 1:19-23
“And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in heavenly places, far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion… and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, which is his body…”
God’s purpose is to gather all things—heavenly and earthly—into one unified body in Christ. This unity transcends earthly divisions such as race, nationality, and background. Believers are called to be part of this one new creation, serving the living God as one.
Predestination is a biblical fact reflecting God’s sovereign plan to orchestrate everything according to His will. However, God desires a people who choose to love and serve Him freely. Both believers and unbelievers have their paths predestined—believers to eternal life in Christ, others to judgment—showing the seriousness of one’s response to God’s call.
Salvation and receiving the Holy Spirit is a sequence: one must hear the true gospel, believe in it sincerely, and then be sealed with the Holy Spirit. Receiving the Spirit is not automatic or simultaneous with hearing the word; genuine faith and acceptance must precede the spiritual sealing.
Believers must actively seek the Spirit of wisdom and revelation to truly understand God’s calling, the inheritance in Christ, and God’s prophetic plans. Without this spiritual enlightenment, many remain ignorant of God’s purposes and are vulnerable to false teachings.
Jesus’ resurrection and ascension to God’s right hand position Him supreme over all powers and authorities, both present and future. He is head of the Church, His body, which means believers collectively embody His presence and authority on earth. Recognizing this calls for humility and faithful discipleship.

Jesus Christ

Wash me clean that I may be made whole!
Please come and live in my heart!
I’m submitting my Life, my will, my mind, my thoughts,
& my imaginations to You
Abide in me, allow me to abide in You!
Let Your Word abide in me!
My Lord & My God!
